Michael Oher: If you die trying for something important, then you have both honor and courage, and that's pretty good.

The Blindside is a great movie based on a true story, that demonstrates the high five principals from Careers Course that we have learned.

1. Follow your heart
2. Change is constant
3. Learning is ongoing
4. Focus on the journey
5. Access your allies

First of all, Michael Oher, the main character, displayed a good example of following his heart. He had the choice to attend 3 different Colleges, but he chose the one he wanted to go with in the first place, which was Ole Miss. It was close(r) to home, and he liked the options the representative gave him,
Secondly, he displayed change is constant. Before Mrs Tuohy found him and took him into her family, he was homeless. He had to adapt to a whole new way of living, but obviously for the better.
Thirdly, he did keep learning. He learned how to make an effort for High School, but he had to keep learning after he went to College.
Fourthly, he was focused solely on sports rather than school and learning, but Mrs. Sue, his student, helped change his mind.
Lastly, he showed a great help from his allies. Mr. and Mrs. Tuohy, along with their family (S.J. and Collins), helped him with everything he needed in life. They gave him a roof, food, and education.

Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. I think it's a fun way to learn about the high five principals in class. The movie is 10/10!
